ARTICLE #1 Preamble
The present general terms and conditions are established within the scope of the distance selling of the products presented on the www.quat-rues.com website and they define the rights and obligations of the parties. They concern customers who are private individuals or natural persons, under no circumstances can they concern shopkeepers or other type of professionals. Each service provided by Quat’rues implies the buyers’ unequivocal adherence to the present general terms and conditions.The relation between parties are subject to the general terms and conditions at work at the moment customers place their orders. Quat’rues authorize themselves to modify their GTC at any moment and the new conditions will be applicable when new orders are placed.
ARTICLE #2 Products
The characteristics of the products for sale are presented on our online shop. Photographs are for reference only and are not part of the contract. Quat’rues cannot be held accountable for any mistakes found there. All texts and images presented on the Quat’rues website are reserved, worldwide, on account of copyrights and protection of intellectual property; their reproduction, even in part, is strictly forbidden.Size conformity: a slight difference in measurements in the size of the products is admitted. similarly, products may undergo a slight shrinking after the first washing, as is the case for any cotton garment.
All the products presented on the website are immediately available (except when bearing the “pre-order” mention) and are for sale until stocks run out. In the exceptional case a product ordered has become unavailable, customers will be informed of the situation by mail in the eight days following their order, and a solution will then be offered (either an exchange with an equivalent product of the same value or the total refund of their order).
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included, except postage costs. Postage costs appear onscreen when customers have finished selecting their products or when they confirm their order.
Quat’rues reserves the right to modify their prices at any time, however products ordered prior to the modification will be billed at the price in use at the time the order was confirmed.
ARTICLE #3 Order
Orders: customers validate their orders when they activate the order confirmation link at the bottom of the page, after having agreed to the present general terms and conditions. Before the final confirmation, customers are systematically invited to check every element of their order; they can thus correct possible mistakes.
Quat’rues confirm the orders by mail; this mail summarizes, among other things, all the elements of the order and the general terms and conditions.
Data recorded by Quat’rues constitute the nature, contents and date of the order. It is archived by Quat’rues within the legal conditions and durations; customers can have access to the archives by getting in touch with the Customers Service.
ARTICLE #4 Payment
Payment: different modes of payment are possible. By credit card (Visa, Master card, credit card). Quat’rues’ website is protected by a secured payment system, having opted for the encrypting process provided by la Banque Populaire. By check: Customers will print the confirmation email for their orders, or write down the information stated there on a sheet of paper, and attach it to their checks, they will then send it to Quat’rues’ registered office. Via Paypal: When you choose online payment via Paypal, you will automatically be re-directed to the Paypal secured payment server. By bank transfer (only possible in the EU): information required for the transfer will be transmitted to customers as they confirm their order.
ARTICLE #5 Delivery
Available products are generally delivered within 48/72 hours (indicative time limit for a tracked colissimo / tracked letter by La Poste), with a maximum limit of eight days, starting from:
- The order if payment was made by credit card
- Receipt of payment by Quat’rues if payment was made by check
- Receipt of the bank transfer on Quat’rues bank account (the indicative time limit for bank transfers is 2 to 3 working days).
Transport risks are at the charge of buyers. In case of transit damage or missing item, they will write down the nature of the problem(s)/express reservations on the delivery slip and will confirm it by recorded letter with acknowledgement of receipt sent to the carrier within 3 days of the delivery.
ARTICLE #6 Exchanges and returns
In case customers made a size mistake in their orders or want to return one or several products, they may ask for an exchange or return in the time limit of 15 days.
This time limit will exceptionally be extended during the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations to allow customers to proceed with exchanges after the 25th of December or 1st of January. To do so, customers will go to the “product returns” menu on their customer accounts and fill in the request questionnaire. Following that, Quat’rues will answer them and indicate to them how to proceed. Return shipping costs are at the customer’s charge. They will have to ensure the parcel be tracked, as Quat’rues cannot be held accountable of any parcel thus returned.
ARTICLE #7 Satisfied or refunded – rights of withdrawal
According to article L.121-18 of the consumer protection code, consumers can return products for a duration of 15 days following delivery, shipping costs being at their charge. They will then be fully refunded of the product’s price in the 15 days following the receipt of the said products by Quat’rues. However, if the products returned are incomplete, damaged or dirty, they will not be taken back. Products may be “tried on” to check size but cannot in any case have been worn or washed.

ARTICLE #9 Data privacy
The sole end of the treatment of the nominative data provided by customers is to enrich Quat’rues’ customer database. Quat’rues commit to keep these data confidential and to protect the privacy of their website’s users. Data are not, under any circumstances, shared with third parties. In conformity with law 78-17 of 6th January 1978, customers can, at any moment, exercise their access or correction rights about the data regarding them, as well as their rights of opposition. In order to exercise those rights, they only have to notify Quat’rues by regular mail sent to the company’s address: Quat’rues, Customer relations, 336 rue de la Fée des Eaux 69390 Vernaison, France; or alternatively send an e-mail to the Customer relations at the following address: contact@quat-rues.com
ARTICLE #10 Intellectual property
All texts, comments, books, illustrations and pictures reproduced on Quat’rues website are reserved, worldwide, on account of copyrights and protection of intellectual property. In this respect and in accordance with the code of intellectual property protection, only private use is allowed, subject to different measures, even more restrictive one, of the intellectual property code. In this regard, customers are otherwise forbidden to copy, duplicate, distribute, sell, publish or exploit the information presented on Quat’rues website in any other fashion nor distribute it in any format, whether electronic or other. Consequently, any such use is considered counterfeiting and is punished by way of the intellectual property protection, except in case of prior agreement with Quat’rues. Any reproduction, whether in part or complete, of Quat’rues website is strictly forbidden.

ARTICLE #11 Practical laws – litigations
Each party agrees that the present contract is subject to the French law. Contractual information is presented in French. Where required, it is up to foreign customers to verify with their local authorities that the products they want to purchase can be used in their countries; Quat’rues cannot be held responsible in case of law infringement regarding the country where products are to be delivered.
